NAME
qstab - Rebuild the qddb Database file contained in RelationDirectory.
SYNOPSIS
qstab RelationDirectory
DESCRIPTION
This program is the first part of the procedure necessary to stabilize a
qddb database. Given a RelationDirectory with an existing Database file,
Changes and Additions directories, and a Database.keys file,
qstab(1)
merges all changes and additions into the stable database (file Database).
SEE ALSO
qkeys(1), qindex(1)
DIAGNOSTICS
qstab exits with a 0 status on success, 1 otherwise.
BUGS
Database.keys
MUST
describe the current state of the
Database
file. In other words, this program will not work if the Database file
is modified without updating the file Database.keys.
